JEPARA, suaramerdeka - Jepara International  Furniture  and  Craft  Buyer Week  ( JIF BW ) 2023  was officially launched at Jepara Kartini Hall, Thursday night (16/2/2023). This exhibition is predicted to be  the  biggest  exhibition in  Indonesia which  will  bring many buyers to visit Jepara Carving City. The launch of JIF BW was marked by the cutting of a tumpeng by the Acting Regent of Jepara, Edy Supriyanta. The activity was also  attended by the  Chairperson of  the  Jepara DPRD  Haizul  Maarif,  officials and heads  of Regional  Apparatus  Organizations (OPD), and a number of furniture entrepreneurs in Jepara.

According to the schedule, JIF-BW is planned to be held on 5-19 March 2023.This launch marks the opening of participant registration.  Exhibition  coordinator  Antonius  Suhandoyo  explained, JIF-BW has the concept of a city exhibition. ''The furniture entrepreneurs  or craftsmen  participating  in  the  exhibition exhibit their works in their respective business premises, showrooms or workshops. All they have to do is beautify their place of business in  preparation  for  the visits  of  buyers,'' he  explained  on the sidelines of the activity.

This exhibition is expected to bring in buyers from domestic and abroad. The buyers will be drawn to Jepara to see the furniture and carving products directly at the production site. At this initial stage, there are already around 54 participants who will enliven the exhibition. For two weeks, this  exhibition was  held  so that it has a  long time  for buyers to come and enjoy the exhibition.
